Another major Italian newspaper, Il Giornale recently published a review of ReCreation, praising Zap Mama’s blend of musical styles from jazz and R&B to hop hop and pop. The article (available here in Italian) also focuses on Zap Mama’s collaboration with Vincent Cassel, and the Brasilian vibe to their remake of “Paroles Paroles.”
Next Thursday, April 29th at 7:00 PM, Zap Mama will perform at the April Jazz Festival in Espoo, Finland. The lineup features a variety of international jazz musicians, including Roy Haynes and The Brand New Heavies. ReCreation has recently received a number of positive reviews from popular Italian magazines and newspapers, commending Zap Mama for her inspiring blend of musical styles from around the world.
